Montgomery Towne Tavern

About us

Some places are just somewhere to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink. Montgomery Towne Tavern was built to be something more. We're proud to be a neighborhood tavern where familiar faces, friendly conversations, and genuine hospitality come together every day. Whether you're stopping in after work, catching the big game, celebrating with family, or simply looking for a place to relax, we want every guest to feel like they belong.

Owner Tom Abbott and the MTT team are committed to creating the kind of tavern that's becoming harder to find—a place where you're greeted with a smile, the food is made fresh, and you're treated like more than just another customer. Our kitchen serves up comfort-food favorites, from our signature smoked wings and juicy burgers to sandwiches, fresh salads, and daily specials. Pair that with an ice-cold beer, handcrafted cocktail, or your favorite drink, and you've got everything you need to settle in and enjoy yourself.

And don't be surprised if Wendy welcomes you with a smile, remembers your favorite drink, or introduces you to someone sitting a few stools away. That's the kind of atmosphere we're proud to create. Around here, strangers become regulars, and regulars become friends. There's always something happening at MTT. Join us for Bottle Cap Bingo every Wednesday, Name the Charge, DJ nights, occasional acoustic performances, and community events like Blooms, Buddies & Bloodies. Whether you're shooting a game of pool, tossing bags on the patio, watching your favorite team, or simply catching up with friends, every visit is another chance to make great memories.

Planning to bring a larger group? We'd love to have you! If you're expecting around 15–20 guests or more, we simply ask that you give us a call ahead of time. Since everything is freshly prepared in our kitchen, a little notice helps us make sure we have enough food and staff ready to give your group the experience they deserve. Whether it's your first visit or you've been joining us for years, pull up a chair, stay awhile, and discover why so many people proudly call Montgomery Towne Tavern their neighborhood gathering place.
